Buttonhole Eyelet Flower... NOT something I will come back to willingly. I just don't do stitches where my hands feel like they are ten times too large for the needle and the stitches come out all wonky like this:
Besides, I can't think of a single use I would put it to...

I'm beginning to think that freehand embroidery is NOT my medium.

How can you be so hard on yorself! These are lovely. Nothing in nature is perfectly even and these would make great flowers. Please don't give up on hand embroidery!!!

Well, these look pretty cool, but I understand exactly what you mean; I have recently doen a couple of pieces with ribbon embroidery, and it's just not going to grab me - it's not exact enough for me, and I can't coordinate myself for it.

Not a thing wrong with wonky! it shows your personality and at least you had the patience to persevere, even though you were not drawn to the stitch!
( when I was just beginning I felt like that about a lot of stitches. Hang in there you'll get a whole lot better!!!
