Lots of mistakes:
- The threads weren't sorted or identified, and my sorting left a lot to be desired since so many thread bundles were three strand only and I mixed up one of them for the house foundation By the time I figured that out, I was NOT going to frog so I left it, checked with the kit instructions, discovered that DMC numbers were included, and went stash diving for matching skeins. Good thing, too, because all that frogging at the beginning left me short several yards for the main house color.
- The grid marking on the chart were similar in weight to the backstitching marks so there are some areas where I just winged it! This was especially so where there were all those fractional stitches, on Aida of all things!
